Lubbock Senior Training Specialist - Human Resources Talent Development 39155BR Human Resources Position Description Evaluates, designs, coordinates and implements training and education programs specific to departmental specialty. Conducts integrated training needs assessments and monitors and reports the effectiveness of training. About the Department and/or College The Talent Development team is dedicated to assisting employees perform at their best to succeed in current positions and successfully prepare for future positions. This team oversees employee development programs, reward programs, and recognition programs by conducting instructor-led and online trainings, by developing relationships with departments, and by creating memorable awards ceremonies. Major/Essential Functions As a training specialist you will play a part in creating an extraordinary place to work where employees know they matter. You will use your expertise to develop departmental and campus-wide training topics such as effective communication skills, time management, delegation, project management, and creating successful teams. You will also facilitate team building activities, develop seminars, and provide online educational sessions using Zoom and Teams. You will be instrumental in in helping individuals develop professionally and contribute to them becoming life-long learners. Finally, you will be instrumental in creating moments that matter through several special employee recognition events. You will do this by:
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field plus three (3) years related experience.
