Description The Paint Decaler is a vital role within the Paint Department, responsible for applying decals and graphics to coaches in accordance with design specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a steady hand for precision application, and a commitment to producing high-quality results that enhance the aesthetic appeal of New Flyer products. Apply decals accurately and efficiently to the exterior and interior surfaces of buses, ensuring compliance with design specifications. Inspect surfaces for cleanliness and readiness before decal application to guarantee optimal adhesion and appearance. Work collaboratively with the Paint Department and other teams to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain an organized workstation and adhere to safety protocols throughout the decal application process. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to decal application, ensuring quality standards are met. Perform touch-ups and minor repairs to decals as needed. All other duties as assigned by management. Requirements Previous experience in decal application or related field is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise tasks. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Familiarity with vinyl materials and adhesive properties is an asset. Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
