Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |
The
UNC Adams School of Dentistry Division of Comprehensive Oral Health houses several disciplines including, Periodontology, Dental Hygiene, Comprehensive Dentistry, Operative Dentistry/BioMaterials, Prosthodontics, and Endodontics. The Division of Comprehensive Oral Health works seamlessly across multiple specialties to ensure patients experience frictionless oral health care treatment. |
Position Summary |
This position functions as the primary point of contact for the daily patient account functions, cashiering, addressing and resolution of insurance inquiries, reconciliation of patient account balances, and perform the end of day reconciliation for depositing the clinic's accounts receivables. This position is also responsible for any clerical work designated by the Graduate Program Directors or direct supervisor. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills is a must. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Prior work experience in a dental/medical office setting. |
