Position Summary:
Normal working hours for this role are anticipated to be Monday - Friday from 7:00am- 3:30pm.
Perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems on an advanced level while maintaining stock levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations.
  • Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature.
  • Assist in training of Technicians.
  • Perform any other job related task as assigned by Management.
Education, Skills, & Experience:
  • Technical/Vocational degree with minimum of 3 years experience in related manufacturing environment.
    • In lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and 2 years of electronic technician experience.
    • Associates Degree is desired
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures.
  • Knowledge of service and repair of St. Louis based instrumentation. Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance and calibration systems and processes.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.
