Pay Range $23.25 - $34.25 hourly
Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.
Applicants who hold an emission certification license from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) will be placed within the specified range. Those who do not hold this certification by the time of hire will be subject to a 5% reduction in the salary offer until this license is obtained.

We Require
Two years of general automotive experience High school diploma or GED A combination of post-secondary education in Automotive Technology or a closely related field or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis Must possess or can obtain the necessary emission certification license through the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) within 90 days of hire to perform emissions testing and compliance activities; obtaining this certification is a condition of employment Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire

Perform general repairs on a variety of light-duty vehicles and equipment in an industrial shop environment Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment Inspect and diagnose vehicles Maintain service records and prepare reports to input information into the fleet tracking system Conduct road tests on vehicles Maintain accurate inventory of parts and services Ensure shop safety and cleanliness and abide by safety policies; Identify safety hazards and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor Consult with supervisor on vehicular problems and performance Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment Other job duties as assigned.
