MO Center for Transportation Innovation

Job Description

This position provides crucial admin support to the Missouri Center for Transportation Innovation (MCTI) and is funded by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) under the University of Missouri System (UMS) MCTI - MoDOT agreement. This program is state funded; therefore, a qualified candidate will need to be comfortable working within the directives associated with the Center and DOT. This position is critical for the operations of MCTI based on the duties, which includes, but is not limited to, center operations and financial support.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, PeopleSoft or similar software
  • Basic editing skills for center communications, newsletters and reports
  • Knowledge and experience with management of project budgets, particularly within the UM System
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact, courtesy, diplomacy, and a cooperative attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $21.42-$29.41 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
