The Cafe Attendant will perform a range of basic cafe support activities, such as greeting guests, answering questions and assisting with use of cafe equipment (payment kiosk and coffee machine) as needed, light cleaning of seating and service areas, and restocking of supplies. Duties and responsibilities include: * Provides exceptional customer service to guests in the Food for Thought Cafe. * Provides information and answers questions about food and beverages offerings. Offers help and assistance as needed. * Assist guests with use of the Fresh Market equipment such as the self-checkout payment kiosk and automated coffee machine. * Ensures that products and supplies are stocked and presented in a clean and organized manner. * Restocks food and beverage products, utensils, coffee supplies, condiments, etc. at serving stations as needed. * Assists with quality control for food and beverage to ensure that anything that is spoiled, nearing expiration, or unattractive is logged and removed * Ensure that equipment is working properly and if not, notify the proper personnel to maintain/fix * Ensure the seating and service areas are kept clean and organized, wiping down, clearing trash as needed, emptying small trash receptacles. * Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
