This exciting endeavor involves converting legacy materials to deliver a highly intelligent and extensible Interactive Electronic Technical Manual. The Technical Writer will: * Tag XML documents to the S1000D specification for the LiveContent IETM viewer. * Incorporate USAF PCRs and Supplements. * Write / innovate scripts to create intelligent graphics. * Write / innovate scripts to convert legacy markup languages. * Turn SGML problems into XML solutions. $40.86 to $50.48 per hour REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Requirements: 3-7 years of XML tagging and IETM development (IADS, LiveContent, etc.). Self-starter who constantly strives to develop new procedures to improve efficiency and Desire to expand your programming skills. Aptitude for devising creative solutions to challenges through storyboards or functional prototypes. Proficient in web-based programming skills (CSS, HTML, XML). Knowledge of graphics formats and their strengths and weaknesses. Expertise working as part of a dynamic, interactive graphics and programming team. Eye for detail, progress tracking, debugging, ability to multitask and switch gears quickly. Willingness to learn and expand your abilities on the job.
