What You'll Do:
  • Collaborates with other senior staff to maintain the Quality Assurance (QA) program to comply with national standards.
  • Evaluation and implementation of new technology and techniques.
  • Maintains templates, checklists and therapy equipment in record and verify system.
  • Provides radiation safety education to staff.

Requirements:

  • PhD or Masters degree in Medical Physics, Physics, or a related disciple

  • 3-5 years of experience as an ABR certified Physicist

  • American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification in Diagnostic Radiological Physics required within 2 years of start date

    OR

    Diagnostic Medical Physics or the American board of medical Physics (ABMP) equivalent in Diagnostic Imaging Physics required upon hire

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
