What You'll Do: Collaborates with other senior staff to maintain the Quality Assurance (QA) program to comply with national standards. Evaluation and implementation of new technology and techniques. Maintains templates, checklists and therapy equipment in record and verify system. Provides radiation safety education to staff. Requirements: PhD or Masters degree in Medical Physics, Physics, or a related disciple 3-5 years of experience as an ABR certified Physicist American Board of Radiology (ABR) certification in Diagnostic Radiological Physics required within 2 years of start date OR Diagnostic Medical Physics or the American board of medical Physics (ABMP) equivalent in Diagnostic Imaging Physics required upon hire Excellent problem solving and analytical skills What You'll Get: Generous Benefit Package $10,000 Sign-on payable after 6 months Sign-on requires a 2 year commitment This position offers a $15,000 relocation bonus Professional Development and Continued Medical Education Funds Discover La Crosse, WI: A unique city with a blend of city, suburban, and small-town living Enjoy a small-town feel with big-city amenities Scenic views and one-of-a-kind landscapes Festivals, shops, restaurants, and more Gundersen Health System Hospital and Clinics comprises 7 hospitals and 33 clinics.
