About the role:

The Client Success Partner (CSP) is part of the Client Success Organization, and partners with and supports Executive Partners (EPs) in Service delivery to role-specific, C-Level clients that drives client engagement and retention. The CSP will focus on providing critical executive support to clients via demonstrated Gartner acumen to deliver balanced service experience within agreed client timelines - deliver on agreed role for Consultations and engagement, insights platform and tools (e.g., Score, Interactive Priorities Navigator, etc.) expertise, registration, agenda, and pre/post support for Events and Peer engagement.

The CSP will typically partner with up to 3 Executive Partners aligned to a single client role, with the goal of working together to deliver high levels of client engagement & client value, resulting in client retention. This role offers the opportunity for mentorship from senior and highly experienced Executive Partners to develop client service delivery skills in areas such as: identifying clients' mission-critical priorities and initiatives, aligning appropriate Gartner support to successfully address those priorities, facilitating client conversations, and developing depth of knowledge about the client role supported and how Gartner is best aligned to support the client success in delivering against their initiatives.

Job Description

What you will do:

  • Partner with the EP on service delivery specifically around Consultation and engagement planning & preparation including:
  • Assist EP with building meeting agenda and clarify participants' roles in consultation calls
  • Creating starter decks for strategic meetings,
  • Attend all Consultation call requested by the EP
  • During consultation call, deliver agreed content and capture and curate notes that document the topics discussed and agreed-upon actions
  • After consultation calls, draft PCFUs and take action on agreed-upon follow-up items
  • Work with client & internal Gartner partners to ensure clients are registered for events and, where needed, help them create an agenda most aligned to their needs so they receive most value from attending events
  • Lead the facilitation of client engagement , partnering with other Gartner teams & coordinating directly with the client as needed to ensure timely and accurate delivery of agreed Gartner assets (e.g., inquiry, diagnostics, research content)
  • Support client with ad-hoc requests for access to Gartner content, helping them to self-serve leveraging the Gartner platform as appropriate.
  • Join analyst calls with clients where EP or Account Executive cannot attend to understand any next steps and client value received
  • For clients with Team Solutions, proactively work with the CSM for self-directed members to share information with the EP, and provide high-level updates to the Guided Team Leader as required during consultations
  • Share feedback, insights and learnings from other interactions and relevant on-the-job experiences with EPs
  • Review & align with EP on the Value Plan for each client in the aligned portfolio to understand specific client needs and Garter approach in delivering value

What you will need:

  • 1+ years relevant professional and/or internship experience
  • Strong customer service, communication, collaboration, prioritization, critical thinking and influencing skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 90,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
