Nature of Work This position reports directly to the PI/Director of the Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center who is responsible for providing a mechanism for the hired individual to develop into a successful independent researcher in the field of Mucosal Immunology. The research focus of the laboratory is to discover knowledge related to inflammatory bowel disease and intestinal mucosal immunity. The proposed training will be conducted at University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Our laboratory aims to improve our knowledge of CD4+ T cell subtypes including regulatory T cells, Th17 cells and their response to cell stress. This laboratory searches for possible therapeutic targets for the treatment of chronic inflammatory conditions. This research project will provide intensive training, with the ultimate goal of successful transition into a position as an independent investigator in academia or industry. Salary and Benefits: The salary range for this position has been established at $53,760 to $65,292.
