We are currently seeking a full time Production Supervisor to join our Lenexa team on our In this role you'll lead up to 30 Lenexa production team members in our Flexographic Printing, Laminating, and Converting Operation. Ensuring day to day team member oversight, including safety, quality, productivity, and cost-effective operations. Working collaboratively with your peers to accomplish our goals and meet customer expectations is key.

Competitive compensation plus bonus.

Schedule: 3rd Shift, Sunday-Thursday 11p-7a.


Responsibilities

  • Lead shift operations to meet daily/weekly production targets, working towards goals and objectives to ensure they are met while adhering to internal quality and safety standards.
  • Exhibit leadership consistent with TC Lenexa's culture - leading and motivating your team while providing mentorship and training to team members.
  • Foster a safe working environment by monitoring and coordinating activities related to team member safety, leading team efforts in meeting or exceeding KPI goals.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts with your team, collaborating with others across the plant to ensure production and cost targets are met or exceeded.

    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse personalities and mentor, coach, and develop team members.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership skills, capable of guiding team members and functioning with minimal supervision.
    Proficiency in managing detailed tasks with accuracy.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and ensuring compliance with company policies such as Safety, GMP, SQF, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Leadership in operational administration, including troubleshooting issues, preparing reports, and meeting key performance indicators in safety, productivity, and quality.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Ability to work scheduled 8-hour shifts and be flexible in daily work assignments, including covering hours for team members.
