Direct Sales Account Manager

Mazak Corporation is looking for a Direct Sales Account Manager to join the Western Sales team at our Western Technology Center located in Gardena, CA. Direct Sales Account Managers, direct and manage all sales activities within an assigned region to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability objectives through direct sales efforts and distributor partnerships. Lead the regional sales organization by establishing sales strategies, territories, quotas, and performance expectations while fostering strong customer and distributor relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Manage and direct the sale of machine tools to companies ranging from small job shops to large corporations.
* Prepare and deliver presentations on the technical features, CNC control and options pertaining to all Mazak machines
* Prepare, deliver, and explain machine proposals.
* Directly negotiate the sale of machines
* Provide necessary post sale technical support as required
* Travel to and from customers as needed to conduct business.
* Attend local, regional, and national shows as required to assist in the promotion and sale of machines.

Education/Certification:
* Associates degree is required or 4 years of machine tool sales experience.

Skills:
* Must have experience with high precision machine tools and knowledge of the respective territory
* Experience with sales CRM such as Salesforce
* Must have strong computer skills and the ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations and use other Microsoft office products, such as, Excel, Word, Exchange, etc.
* Ability to prepare business communication and send email as required.
* General ability to read blueprint drawings, understand part geometry and interpret part tolerances.
