2027 Summer Internship Program:

• The Internal Audit Intern works as an apprentice under the direction of the VP -Internal Audit and is responsible for functions needed in the Internal Audit Department. The Internal Audit will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the Company. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct operational audits, including reviewing purchasing card transactions, expense reimbursements, pharmacy claims and financial controls for compliance.
  • Prepare audit reports, risk assessments, and presentations using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Assist with audit engagements, departmental projects, and serve as a resource for broader audit initiatives.
  • Support the evaluation and enhancement of internal controls and risk mitigation processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain, update, and manage audit-related data, records, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance initiatives and process improvement efforts.
  • Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance activities, including control testing, documentation review, and evaluation of internal control effectiveness over financial reporting.
