Responsibilities The Chaplain Intern serves as a student chaplain under CPE supervision. Responsibilities include visiting hospitalized patients and families, crisis ministry, successfully completing all CPE classes and requirements and serving in rotation with others as the overnight on call chaplain. Interns will acquire one unit of ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), which consists of 400 hours of clinical training.
