Unit/Role Info:

Women's Center Navigator (Breast Surgery)

The Women's Center Navigator functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team who has experience in patient relations and referral management. The Navigator is a clinical resource and advocate with the goal of ensuring timely, seamless and efficient access for new patients and referring physicians to the breast surgery practice. Her/his main area of focus is to improve access and patient experience as well as to provide patient education. And will coordinate patient care from practice point of entry to survivorship and discharge. She/he will serve as a liaison within the healthcare system and to community resources.

Qualifications:

  • Baccalaureate Degree in nursing required
  • Minimum of 3 years in a healthcare setting
  • Current RN District of Columbia licensure
  • CPR - Basic CPR Upon Hire (Required)

Salary Range: Minimum $47.57/hour - Maximum $73.73/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
