Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED required.



Experience Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years of quality inspection experience in the aerospace industry
  • Experience with FAA Repair Stations preferred
  • Knowledge of quality audits, cleanroom inspections, and aviation quality standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities


Job Duties


  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aerospace components
  • Verify material certifications, outside process certifications, and drawing requirements
  • Complete first article inspections and related documentation
  • Review engineering drawings and technical repair data
  • Inspect repairs and verify compliance with FAA and customer requirements
  • Complete Certificates of Conformance (C of C) and FAA forms as required
  • Conduct cleanroom, NDT, and conformity inspections
  • Perform repair station audits and quality reviews of travelers
  • Prepare teardown reports and material discrepancy reports (MDRs)
  • Support testing and inspection of aerospace systems and components



Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
  • Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.
  • Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Quality Inspector.



Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
