Security Officer - Customer Service and Patrol

As a Security Officer Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a lively retail and entertainment location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist guests with professionalism and care. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the entertainment venue, including bowling areas, arcade spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly guest experience by providing directions, answering questions, and supporting location procedures during busy periods and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
