Description

The LJS Fellows program is an opportunity for LJS majors to make a positive impact on our department. Fellows will collaborate with LJS faculty & staff to develop innovative approaches to increasing student engagement and serving as a leader for other LJS students. Each Fellow will have unique responsibilities based on their individual strengths and passions. Students interested in becoming an LJS Fellow should have ideas that they are excited to execute in order to create more opportunities for the LJS department.

Applicants must meet at least 4 of the following qualifications (not including classification):



  • Junior or Senior LJS major
  • Mock Trial or Moot Court experience
  • Strong campus involvement
  • Strong GPA (3.5+)
  • Taken 4+ LJS courses
  • Relevant work/internship experience


Potential responsibilities include: Undergraduate research and publications, tutoring sessions, coordinating service opportunities, assisting faculty and staff, representing LJS at events, etc.

LJS Fellows should expect to commit anywhere from 5 to 15 hours per week (based on the responsibilities established)

Must be a current Lipscomb University student. This position may be federal work study eligible.
