- Use computerized manufacturing technologies to create part patterns and related programs for automated fabrication equipment.
- Ensure production schedules are met.
- Work with and provide technical assistance, problem solving and training where needed to the operations or engineering support teams.
- Work with the operators on fabrication issues.
- Recommend potential improvements related to day-to-day operations, tooling and equipment.
- Update part information in JDE or other similar business system.
YOU HAVE:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- A minimum of three years of experience with CNC Equipment.
- Experience with nesting or programming.
- Associates degree in design/drafting preferred.
- Knowledge of drafting standards and manufacturing processes.
- Skill using CNC software and JD Edwards.
- Demonstrated skills in attention to detail and accuracy.
- Skill in written and oral communication with the ability to interface with people across multiple functional areas.
- Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships across functional areas.

Pay Transparency
nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $20.40 - $37.80 Per Hour
