About the Opportunity:

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Intern to join our team. This paid internship will be a 12-week experience starting late May 2027. The Intern will support key initiatives aimed at optimizing our maintenance operations, with an emphasis on streamlining inventory management, auditing preventative maintenance tasks, and improving safety equipment organization. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on critical projects that directly impact the efficiency, accuracy, and safety of our maintenance department.

Location: Stuart, Florida - Onsite. Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

This internship does not include relocation assistance, housing accommodations, or transportation support. Interns must secure their own reliable housing and transportation for the duration of the program.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify equipment assets and update information in the CMMS.
  • Organize and review equipment documentation, manuals, and records.
  • Support standardization of asset naming and documentation across both facilities.
  • Review preventive maintenance (PM) procedures and schedules for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify gaps or improvement opportunities in PM tasks and coverage.
  • Work with maintenance technicians to gather practical equipment knowledge.
  • Recommend updates to asset data and PM processes to improve maintenance accuracy and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in mechatronics, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, engineering technology, or related technical field.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with inventory management systems (Asset Essentials or similar platforms).
  • Basic understanding of maintenance processes and safety protocols in industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and data entry procedures.
  • Previous internship or work experience in a manufacturing or operational setting.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Working Conditions:

  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
