Position Summary
The Engineering Supervisor in our Minneapolis, MN location directs the work of manufacturing engineers and engineering technicians as well as other technical roles as described in a value stream. The Engineering Supervisor sets engineering milestones and ensures that user needs and requirements are gathered and fully understood. This role is responsible for making sure the team has contingency plans in place to ensure setbacks do not result in manufacturing delays. Works within a defined schedule to identify action items and engineering milestones to keep projects on track. Responsible for the people management, functional competency development, and execution of product development activities. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to directing and managing NPD or Sustaining activities. Responsible for the skills and capabilities growth of individuals on the team. Responsible for collaboration with other development leads and engineers. This person has engineering responsibilities in addition to the supervising responsibilities. Must adhere to systems and controls to ensure compliance with quality standards and manage the product design end-to-end. The Engineering Supervisor develops strategy for manufacturing operations, including required technology and needed resources. This role is responsible for the development efforts of their team during all phases of program from inception to completion of a commercialized product including launch and post launch follow up. The recommendations from the Engineering Supervisor have a significant impact on the development path of a project. This role requires working within a cross-functional team supporting the development plans for a product. Must be familiar with a wide variety of the design concepts, practices, and procedures and relies on experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to and takes work direction from the Engineering Manager. Own the success of product and/or development project(s).
This position requires working onsite in our Plymouth, MN location 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, with occasional earlier or weekend hours based on business needs. What You'll do as an Engineering Supervisor

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
