Byggmeister is a worker-owned, woman-led design-build remodeling firm striving to be an exemplary steward of Boston area homes. We are looking for an experienced carpenter to join our field crew in producing beautiful, durable, environmentally responsible renovations.

You are a talented craftsperson who is interested in home performance and committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. In addition, you:

 

  • Have strong carpentry, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Bring positive energy, takes on all tasks with enthusiasm, works well with a wide range of people, and is a team player
  • Can read and understand construction documents
  • Show ongoing interest in continuing education
  • Always maintain personal and jobsite safety
  • Own and maintain hand and power tools
  • Have reliable transportation to work sites around the Boston area

 

DETAILS

  • Full-time
  • 5 years of field experience in residential construction
  • Work on job sites around the metro Boston area

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • $35-41 hourly depending on experience
  • Tool, cell phone and vehicle allowance
