Quality Audit Technician, Cell Manufacturing

Tesla is looking for anexperienced individualwith quality programs and technical quality processes to contribute to the team managing the quality program at the Cell Manufacturing facility. As a Quality Technician, you willbe responsible forperforming the daily operation of and providing support to users of the quality program. In this role, you will work within the Quality Operations organizationand Quality Engineering team.

Shift: 5:30PM-5:45AM or 5:30AM-5:45PM
Days:Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday

• Operate in the 'inspect, diagnose and repair' mindset

• Perform Audits as per checklist and report on findings promptly and escalate as needed.

• Work closely with manufacturing, process, and quality teams toestablishprocesses and procedures that will ensure consistently high quality

• Comprehend current production quality trends based on dashboards or from occurrences in the line

• Executetimelycorrective action for quality mitigation and containment

• Collaborate with engineering teams to support investigation,containmentand execution for strategic quality issues

• Monitor quality,determinethe root cause ofproblemsand implement corrective actions and countermeasures

• Analyze and dispositioncomponentand product defects as a member of the Material Review Board

• Experienced in QS-9000, ISO/TS 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFMEA, PFMEA preferred

• Experience with extensive problem-solving and root cause analysis

• Experience working incleanroomenvironment preferred.

• Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

Essential Physical Demands:

• Abilityto wear PPE, which may include a full-facerespirator and coveralls as needed due to working with hazardous chemicals

• Ability to lift and sort parts of up to 30 lbs. as needed
