Description Cove's EdgeProfessional - Clinical Summary: The Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders Preschool provides year-round, intensive, evidence-based services for children ages 3 to 5 with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental needs. Our program is built on a collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment model that brings together Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physical Therapists (PTs), Special Educators, Educational Technicians/Behavioral Health Professionals, and nurses.. Through the integration of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and specialized therapeutic services, our team works together to support each child's communication, social-emotional development, learning, independence, and overall well-being. We are committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care in a supportive and inclusive environment where children can reach their fullest potential Summary: The Occupational Therapist (OT) role organizes and conducts prescribed skilled OT services through the application of purposeful, goal -directed activity in the evaluation and treatment of patients whose function is impaired by physical illness or injury, emotional disorder, congenital or developmental disability, or the aging process to achieve the optimum functioning, to prevent disability, and to maintain health. This role develops and implements individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and adjust interventions as needed. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for collaborating with families, interdisciplinary teams, and other healthcare professionals to support communication of functional outcomes. Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
