Job Function Summary: Involves the oversight of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) performing a variety of patient care activities, such as administering injections and medications, monitoring patients' blood pressure, changing bandages, inserting catheters, and assisting with bathing or dressing. LVNs are trained to work in all aspects of health care, and may specialize in certain areas. Work is performed in a variety of medical settings, such as hospitals, clinics, physicians' offices and home care. Custom Scope Ensures the quality of LVN patient care and serves as a role model. Assists staff with escalated issues and reports patients' status and concerns to management or clinicians as needed.

Required qualifications:
- At least 2 years or more years of LVN experience within the last 2 years.
- Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and delegate work functions efficiently.
- Demonstrated skills to effectively supervise patient care support staff. Strong knowledge of practice operations.
- In depth knowledge of patient support care clinical standards and care delivery, systems, external regulations, and internal policies
- Working knowledge of human resources management policies, with the ability to train, monitor, evaluate, and document human resources issues and performance, and to participate in decision-making on human resources matters.
- Detail oriented, with the ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to quickly analyze problems, determine appropriate level of intervention, and apply effective solutions.
- Solid interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and problem solving with all levels of management and staff
- Skills in written and verbal communications, with the ability to convey clinical and technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Knowledge of business software and specialized applications and data management systems used in clinic / center patient care.
Preferred qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience
- EPIC/APeX Super User
- CPT I Certified ( CPT-1 certification current with the State of California)
Licenses/Certifications/Education:
- Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) License
- CPR Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association
- High school or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Graduation from an approved LVN program
