Security Officer Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Spring Lake, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer for Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring travel throughout the property while delivering strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, retail location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting security-related observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entry points, parking areas, and/or perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions needing attention.
• Monitor high-traffic areas, observe customer and associate activity, and/or report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or unusual conditions to site management.
• Support access control and closing procedures as assigned, including observing doors, receiving areas, and/or restricted spaces in accordance with location protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
