What to Expect
Tesla's Optimus team is building the future of humanoid robotics and as our fleet scales globally, the service infrastructure that keeps robots operational becomes a strategic differentiator. We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to coordinate and execute service optimization work across the Optimus Service network: helping develop the procedures technicians rely on, supporting new service locationbringup, contributing to fleet usage forecasting, and running the day-to-day process improvements that make our service operation faster, safer, and more consistent. This role is hands-on, cross-functional, and execution-focused.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with the service procedures team to ensure all technician repair procedures areaccurateand current as our hardware evolves
  • Support new service locationbringupby tracking readiness checklists, coordinating tooling and parts provisioning, scheduling technician training, and making sure nothing slips between Facilities, Supply Chain, EHS, and the local site team
  • Contribute to fleet usage forecastingbypulling deployment, duty cycle, and reliability inputs together into projections for technician hours, bay capacity, spare part demand, and tooling needs
  • Run process optimization initiatives on the service floorby instrumenting workflows, measuring cycle time and first time-fix rates,identifyingbottlenecks, and driving targeted improvements through to completion
  • Help land new hardware revisions in service by coordinating the procedures, training, parts, and tooling needed to support them, working closely with Engineering, NPI, and Field Operations
  • Coordinate across Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Test, and Field Operations teams to unblock service throughput issues and route problems to the right owners quickly
  • Provide regular reporting on procedure rollout status, locationbringupprogress, forecast vs. actuals, and process improvement outcomes

What You'll Bring
  • Experience in service operations, field operations, or production operations, including authoring technical procedures, supporting sitebringup, or running process improvement work
  • Self-starter highly driven tooptimizeoperational processes
  • Thrive in ambiguity within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicator who flags issues rapidly to theappropriate individuals
  • Hands-on capability to work with tools/vehicles/robots and take decisive action to complete tasks
  • Comfortable working across hardware and software

    Expected Compensation
    $96,800 - $253,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
