What to Expect

The Head of Paid Digital Demand Generation is criticaltodriving scalable, high-quality demand and brand awareness for Tesla Energy's products and services. In this role, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of paid digital channels to fuel growth, improve conversion efficiency, and ensure alignment with Tesla's broader marketing and businessobjectives.

This role reports to the Head of Global Demand Generation and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing Operations, Growth, Creative, Legal, Sales, and external agency partners.


What You'll Do
  • Lead paid digital strategy and execution for North America across paid search, paid social, and display advertising
  • Own channel-level budget allocation and performance management to meet revenue, CAC, and ROI targets
  • Manage external agency relationships, holding partners accountable for results and campaign delivery
  • Partner with marketing operations to define KPIs, build reporting, and deliver actionable insights to leadership
  • Provide strategic input on organic search opportunities based on paid channel performance and audience data
  • Lead creative briefing and approval processes to ensure brand, legal, and campaign alignment
  • Identify process improvements to optimize performance and scale best practices across markets

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience with a proven track record in paid media and demand generation
  • Demonstrated experience managing paid digital acquisition budgets exceeding $10M annually
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads account structure, bid strategies, conversion tracking, and paid social platforms
  • Prior experience in both agency and in-house environments with strong operational rigor
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into strategy
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience presenting to executive audiences

    Expected Compensation
    $88,000 - $198,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
