Requisition ID# 173022 Job Category: Project / Program Management Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Energy Delivery Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Oakland Position Summary The VM Constraints Management Team is responsible for establishing processes, tools, and reporting to help reduce dependencies (i.e. Permitting, Customer Interferences, Environmental Review) that arise during PG&E Vegetation Management work. The Customer Escalations Vegetation Program Manager within the Constraints Management team will be responsible for owning and managing the processes and reporting for customer interferences and customer refusals. The timely resolution of customer escalations ensures electric system safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance with state and federal rules. The incumbent may also serve as a subject-matter expert, providing guidance and education, or influencing leaders in the industry (PG&E, other utilities, or other decision-makers) on regulatory issues and program strategies. Work includes coordination with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure resolution of constraints in order for Operations to manage vegetation proximity to PG&E assets. This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to report to their assigned office location at least one day per week. The remaining days may be worked remotely, depending on business needs. The headquarters location is flexible between either Oakland or San Ramon. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company, in good faith, believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the job's locality. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, particular skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired for this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision regarding these factors will be made on a case-by-case basis.
