  • Co-manage all aspects of Global Fellows summer internship program including student recruitment, employer partnerships and internship placement process.
  • Advise students on an individual basis regarding career issues and strategies, job search methods, resume preparation, internship, job placement and related matters
  • Provide advising and program support for the international student population (i.e. curate resources, plan events or workshops, etc.)
  • Co-manage all aspects of Wallis Annenberg Innovation internship program including student recruitment, securing industry partners and grant proposal management
  • Provide program support for Annenberg's experiential education programs including Maymesters and Spring Break Career Immersions
  • Coordinate alumni career panels
  • Support department programming: Lunch with Leaders, Career Treks, Alumni Panels, Company info sessions
  • Hire, train and supervise one student employee to focus on international student support

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum Experience:
5 years
Minimum Field of Expertise:
Bachelor's degree in counseling, higher education, human resources, or related field. Four years' counseling and human resources experience in a corporate or higher education environment, or similar industry. Leadership and guidance skills with a proven ability to manage, balance, and prioritize different tasks and projects. In-depth knowledge of federal immigration regulations, interpreting and providing guidance as to their relevance to international students. Advanced knowledge of employer recruiting strategies, job market trends, and occupational, career, and employment information sources. Superior level of professionalism, exceptional attention to detail, and exemplary written and oral communication, presentation, and public-speaking skills. Demonstrated experience interacting with diverse individuals and groups, exercising diplomacy, good judgment, and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
5-8 years of student affairs experience, ideally in career services or international programs
Master's degree in student Affairs, Education, Counseling or related field
Demonstrated experience, and commitment to working with international students
Administrative experience with graduate or undergraduate populations in a university environment and knowledge of university policies and procedures.
