Schedule: 1st Shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (40 hrs/week + mandatory OT; future 2nd shift flexibility preferred)

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr (Bill Rate: $20.63/hr)

Position Overview

We are hiring 2 Coil Preparation Associates (Assemblers) to support final-stage coil production within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preparing, assembling, and finishing coils to meet quality and performance standards. Candidates will work closely with a small team and play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production output.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements
• Perform wire preparation and assembly tasks, including:




• Bending, shaping, cutting, and soldering wires and lugs
• Attaching wires using lugs and crimps
• Sanding wires and applying sleeving




• Operate pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools
• Pull lead wires and complete finishing steps per specifications
• Use lift assist equipment when handling materials over 50 lbs
• Maintain quality, efficiency, and productivity standards
• Support physical inventory activities
• Adhere to 6S and Lean Manufacturing practices
• Perform additional duties as needed in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
• Basic communication skills (verbal)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Ability to perform soldering and detailed hand assembly
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to:




• Stand/walk for extended periods
• Perform repetitive hand motions
• Lift 10 lbs frequently / up to 50 lbs occasionally (with assistance)
• Work in tight spaces, bend, stoop, and reach as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or light industrial roles
• Hands-on experience with:




• Crimping tools
• Soldering
• Electrical/mechanical assembly




• High school diploma or equivalent

• Candidates must be open to mandatory overtime and ideally have shift flexibility as a 2nd shift is being introduced
