Our Rental Technicians are qualified electricians with hands-on experience. They take on the responsibility of making sure our equipment is always fully operational and ready for any rental at any time. As a Rental Technician, you'd be responsible for the full lifecycle of our rental electrical equipment - from preparation and testing, to maintenance, repair, and return inspection. Day-to-day, you'll configure equipment to meet specific customer project requirements, perform quality assurance testing, document inspections, and troubleshoot issues. You'll work with a wide range of commercial and industrial electrical equipment, including transfer switches, distribution gear, transformers, breakers, motor starters, and cables across different voltages and amperage levels. You'll also support warehouse operations like shipping and receiving and help keep the yard and shop organized and professional. Because our customers sometimes need urgent support, the role does require availability for occasional after-hours calls.

We're looking for someone who brings strong electrical fundamentals, can read schematics and blueprints, works safely, and takes pride in keeping equipment in top condition


  • Prepare rental equipment to suit customer project needs
  • Inspection and quality assurance testing and reports of rental and sale equipment
  • Preventative maintenance and minor repairs to rental equipment
  • Shipping and receiving of rental and sale equipment
  • Maintaining a high level of presentation and organization in our yard, warehouse and common areas
  • Some work beyond regular hours required to attend to after-hours calls

Equipment includes: Automatic and manual transfer switches, distribution panels, dry/padmount/substation transformers, cable, motor starters, breakers, splitters, and more across a range of voltages and amperage levels.

  • Minimum 3 years as a qualified working electrician (Journeyman or equivalent)
  • Commercial and industrial electrical construction, repairs, maintenance and commissioning to high and low voltage system
  • Able to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids
  • Able to locate and correct defects in electrical systems and equipment
  • Able to lift/move heavy equipment (100+ lbs.), work at heights, and in confined spaces
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours for after-hours calls as needed
