SUMMARY
Responsible for providing marketing negotiation and analysis on P&C prospects, and managing marketing materials and events. Responsible for obtaining alternate quotes and providing marketing negotiation of existing accounts on assigned customers and/or policies. Supports producer in soliciting of new business and other Producer-led efforts. Provides mentoring to staff to support immediate supervisor/Marketing Manager.
This opportunity falls under our Alliant Specialty division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Fosters and manages overall relationship with insurance carriers, wholesalers, and other third party vendors to ensure retention of middle and large market book of business;
Supports Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects;
Analyzes and compares current exposures and develops renewal or new business specifications for marketing;
Independently reviews policy and determines appropriate coverage; identifies possible deficiencies;
Works on renewal strategy with Producer and Account Manager to obtain competitive quotes;
Conducts marketing, negotiates rates, reviews quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy;
Reviews and summarizes marketing results and prepares proposals;
Finalizes proposals and presentations in coordination with Producer;
Binds insurance coverage and prepares binders and/or delegate certificates issuance;
Notifies producer of pertinent information related to client retention;
Meets with clients as needed or directed by Producer;
Provides mentoring to staff to support immediate supervisor/Marketing Manager;
Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Eight (8) or more years related work experience
Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor
Valid Insurance License
