The Operations Supervisor for Stellantis Transport will be responsible for managing dispatchers and truck drivers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials in a fast-paced unionized environment. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring team safety, allocating manpower and equipment, working with the plants to prioritize deliveries, analyzing shift performance, and implementing process improvements.

The Operations Supervisor will be cross-trained for the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor position for personal and professional development and to support the Stellantis Transport team environment.

Additional job responsibilities include but not limited to:



  • Ensure customer needs are met, deliveries are timely and plant yards are managed
  • Lead team morale
  • Problem-solving activities
  • Manage employee attendance
  • Ensure the right allocation of manpower and equipment


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 + years of experience in the trucking industry managing people and processes
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build effective business relationships with team members, customers, and the Supply Chain Management team
  • Excellent supervisory and management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite software program
