UMKC's Kansas City Athletics -- Women's Volleyball Job Description
This position will assist the Kansas City Athletics Volleyball Head Coach with direction and administrative oversight of the intercollegiate volleyball program relative to successful athletic performance, recruitment and retention of student-athletes and providing the necessary leadership for a positive competitive environment for student athletes. Duties and Responsibitlies include, but are not limited to: Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrate extensive experience working in collegiate or professional volleyball in all areas. Must be able to follow the requirements of the NCAA, the Summit League and the mission of UMKC. Must be able to communicate effectively and foster positive relations with prospective and enrolled student-athletes, fellow coaches, Athletics staff and university administration and the general public; and have a clear understanding of the role of athletics within the university and Kansas City community. Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as starting at $50,000 annually. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
