The firm is seeking a full-time Legal Personnel Coordinator to join the Legal Personnel department/Professional Development department in our New York Office. This is a full-time, Non-exempt position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  • Act as the team lead for all lateral and fall associates onboarding and offboarding logistics and procedures including liaison with administrative departments
  • Responsible for maintaining and disseminating the weekly legal status reports; coordinate with Benefits with regards to attorney leaves information
  • Responsible for processing attorney employment changes in workday: new hires, departures, FTE changes, data integrity, and generate reports as needed
  • Maintain attorney personnel files in iManage
  • Manage the legal personnel mailbox in outlook
  • Oversee the I9s and perform audits to ensure I9 documentation is not outdated
  • Administer the attorney part time program
  • Administer firm surveys (Vault and Midlevel Associate)
  • Participate in the coordination and logistics of the fall associate program
  • Assist the senior legal personnel manager with the end of the year attorney bonuses and compensation process

REQUIREMENTS:
  • A minimum of two-years' experience, preferably in a law firm environment or professional services.
  • Experience working in a HRIS system, preferably Workday.
  • Excellent organizational skills; prioritizing workload and attention to detail in a fast-paced service-oriented environment.
  • Excellent follow-up skills to maintain accurate, consistent, high standards in all work while maintaining professional confidentiality.
  • Strong interest in the legal industry is preferred; Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess a "roll up your sleeves" approach to work.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF).
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred experience working in Workday, iManage and MS Office
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
