- Demonstrate strong commitment to personal safety, environmental accountability, and compliance with all safety programs and requirements
- Wear required personal protective equipment, comply with lockout and tagout policies, and manage safe work and confined space permits from issuance to closeout
- Apply knowledge of emergency procedures and actively support safety initiatives including inspections, incident reporting, and behavior-based safety programs
- Assist in developing and executing safe standard operating procedures, work a rotating schedule with on-call duties, and support shift coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain facility housekeeping, participate in turnaround planning and execution, and support routine maintenance and process safety management activities
- Maintain training compliance and meet physical demands such as confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to fifty pounds, and working at heights
- Be available for extended hours as needed and demonstrate flexibility to support weekend, holiday, and call-in coverage
- Ensure a reliable, safety-focused presence during critical operational periods
