What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)
The Talent Acquisition Specialist identifies and attracts top talent for Murata Electronics and its North American affiliates. This strategic role manages full-cycle recruitment across engineering, technical, operations, and sales functions, developing recruiting strategies and serving as a subject matter expert. The ideal candidate combines strong recruiting expertise with the ability to understand complex technical roles, build talent pipelines, and deliver exceptional candidate experience while supporting organizational growth.
- Use knowledge and experience to perform sourcing and full cycle recruiting activities to attract, assess, and hire top talent for Murata Electronics and affiliates.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers by sourcing and recruiting for all levels of talent, including technical and engineering talent.
- Perform full life cycle recruiting from intake meeting through offer acceptance.
- Monitor the applicant tracking system to ensure candidate progression is being tracked.
- Promote our employer brand and generate excitement about Murata Electronics when reaching out to candidates.
- Liaison between the candidate and the company throughout the interview process, effectively managing expectations and consistently communicating recruitment progress.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers on recruiting processes, expertise, best practices, hiring market, interviewing techniques, selection methodology, etc.
- Identify, attract, and evaluate both passive and active candidates through a variety of search methods including but not limited to social media, applicant tracking system, networking, etc.
- Persuade candidates to consider a job change and assess whether the candidate is qualified for the role and a good fit.
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
- Participate and contribute to various recruiting meetings and projects.
- Work with support staff on coordinating interviews, assessment requests, and interview training.
- Support university recruitment programs and events.
- Stay current with recruitment market, trends, and best practices.
- Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- 3+ yearsof corporate talent acquisition experience with a focus on sourcing and full-cycle recruiting for technology, operations, and sales positions.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing tools.
- Ability to interact effectively with a range of diverse personalities and establish professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage expectations while collaborating cross-functionally, aligning talent acquisition efforts with business objectives to build a strong workforce.
- Strategic thinker who has high attention to detail and strong consulting skills, highly effective at making decisions and problem-solving with the ability to take initiative.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with excellent project management, written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Federal and State employment laws pertaining to recruiting.
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Recruiting or Human Resources certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or AIRS.
- Experience recruiting for highly specialized technical and engineering roles is a plus.
- Experience working for a culturally diverse global company.
- Recruiting within electronics, high-technology, or related industries.
- Experience working with SuccessFactors ATS.
- Experience recruiting in a shared services environment.
Travel
