Compound solid and liquid flavors through accurate weighing, blending, mixing, sifting/milling, and packing of raw materials. Follow detailed shop floor papers, SOPs, and batch instructions to ensure product quality and compliance. Maintain a safe working environment by using PPE and actively supporting a strong safety culture. Ensure processing areas and equipment meet GMP, sanitation, and food safety (HACCP) standards. Perform precise weighing of liquids and powders using analytical balances. Complete inventory transactions, including backflushing raw materials in SAP and IFFMan. Fill flavor samples and finished goods containers and process them correctly in inventory systems. Label QC samples, shipping samples, and stock containers accurately and on time.
What Makes You the Right Fit
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of experience in chemical process manufacturing, preferably in food manufacturing. Strong basic math, reading, and computer skills with the ability to read and understand English instructions. Demonstrated ability to accurately weigh materials to 0.001 grams using analytical scales. Working knowledge of the metric system, including weight conversions. Ability to follow detailed instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Physically able to lift up to 25 kg and handle 50 kg bags and 200 kg drums. Willingness to work 2nd and 3rd shifts with required overtime, including Saturdays.
How Would You Stand Out?
Previous powders compounding experience. Handson experience with SAP and/or IFFMan. Forklift certification and experience operating mechanical equipment.
