The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology focuses on delivering the highest quality care to our patients. We employ multidisciplinary simulation, huddling, and debriefs to promote teamwork and standardize care to continually improve our processes. We work collaboratively with nurses, midwives, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to deliver the highest quality care to our patients in a safety net setting.

Opportunity Details:

  • Provide comprehensive, compassionate prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
  • Utilizeadvanced obstetric skills to manage high-risk pregnancies and complex deliveries.
  • Maintain a balanced outpatient clinic schedule, while prioritizing continuity of care for your OB patients.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with our team of physicians, certified nurse-midwives, and specialized nursing staff.
Qualifications
  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • 5 to 15 years of post-residency clinical experience.
  • Advanced competency in complex obstetrics, operative vaginal deliveries, and VBAC management.
  • Active New York State medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • A warm bedside manner, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for the obstetric side of women's healthcare.

Wages and Benefits include:

AnnualBase Salary: $296,000* (board eligible); $301,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.Additionalcompensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $435,800** (board eligible) and $441,300** (board certified),which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

  • Estimated annual compensation for 10additionalsessional/per diem hours worked per week is $70,200***.

  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):

    • Employees areimmediatelyvestedin a 3% company contributionofbase earnings. No employee match isrequired.
    • After one year ofservice, employees receive anadditional7% company contributionofbase earnings. No employee match isrequired.

  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.

  • Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.

  • Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.

  • Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
