Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Production Planning ERP Solution Architect to join our Regional Digital Hub based in Mobile, AL or Grand Prairie, TX.

You will be the functional expert for the ERP Solution deployment and adaptations for E2E Production Planning perimeter deployment and
sustainment.

The Procurement team's mission is to acquire indirect goods and services for Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters, playing a major role in generating value and contributing to the overall competitiveness of the company. Your Working Environment:

On 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus' strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

This position is responsible for:
* All ERP Digital related activities for the Production Planning Product/Services (Master Production Schedule, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Work Order Creation/Execution, and Production Activity Control) for all Airbus North America business functions.
* Acting as the Regional L3 Resolver embedded in the Group Global L3 team, providing the highest level of technical and functional expertise for the Airbus ERP Core Solution solution in the region.
* Leading the deployment and stabilization of the ERP Core Solution global template, ensuring it is adapted to the specific industrial footprint and regional production planning requirements of the AIRBUS North America facilities.
* Promoting and deploying state-of-the-art digital solutions in Production Planning in line with AIRBUS Operating Model and Standards.

Primary Responsibilities:
* The Production Planning ERP Solution Architect has overall accountability on the performance (delivery, costs, people management) of the related product teams. Product scope is end-to-end (Design / Build / Run).
* Responsible for Multi-Functional Teams formation in order to manage the Digital Product/Application lifecycle related to the Production Planning solution.
* Drive continuous improvement of all products and services within the Production Planning Product/Service, especially focusing on digital continuity across the "Production Planning and Execution flows" physical flows to prevent digital system "hand-off" errors.
* Maintain a backlog of work with clear priorities agreed with the respective business stakeholders.
* Acts as an advocate on behalf of business stakeholders to ensure his/her function's services & products meet business priorities and needs.
* Responsible for the roll-out of Group Information Solutions and their local adaptations in line with group strategy for the Production Planning scope
* Future-Proofing for ERP upgrade and future releases by ensuring local solutions and data adhere to the global "Clean Core" standards.

Projects: 30%
* Ensures and secures strategic vision alignment between his/her function and the Business.
* Manage projects that are in the scope of ERP Core Solution deployment and stabilization, using appropriate methodologies (waterfall, fast track, agile) in coordination with Airbus Core Solution and Digital Central.
* Partners with the business and others IM Domains/PSL/Products & Services to ensure proper design and implementation in the frame of group-wide initiatives.
* Lead the deployment and stabilization of the ERP Core Solution global template on Production Planning scope.
* Ensure that projects deliver appropriate business value (savings, efficiency, business growth).

Application Development, Maintenance and Support: 40%
* Responsible for guaranteeing end-to-end service according to agreed SLAs established with the business, specifically acting as the Regional L3 Resolver.
* Liaise with the business and IM teams in Europe to contribute to the design/development of solutions and prepare the deployment and support of those solutions.
* The architect is expected to foster innovation, maintain a pipeline of innovative features, and lead the Production Planning Product/Service design authority.
* Organize and plan deployment activities, including end-user training and post-deployment incident logs.

People: 10%
* Manages the Digital team in charge of designing, developing, maintaining and supporting the Production Planning Product/Service (Indirect report)
* Manage Team performance and employee development with the associated employee manager.

Planning & Budgeting: 10%
* Works with IM Governance and Others IM Domains/PSL/Product & Services to identify opportunities in the IM Master Plan.

* Manages related budget performance and identifies areas of savings.

Other Duties as Assigned: 10%
* Collaborates with global Airbus Digital Operations solutions counterparts to develop and improve standards.
* Ensures compliance with Airbus Digital Operations solutions standards, security standards & evolving cyber security requirements.

Qualified Experience and Training:
Any SAP Certification is preferred

Education:
* Master Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
* At least 10 years of experience in application development and support in the manufacturing environment.
* At least 10 years of Project Management experience in the manufacturing environment.
* At least 2-5 years of experience in people management (or equivalent proven records within project organization).
* Demonstrated experience in large-scale ERP transformation programs (e.g., ARP, S/4HANA migration).
* Understanding of Airbus IM standards, project and services methodologies and procedures.

Licensure/Certifications:
* SAP MM/PP/DS/ME/IBP, SAP S4/HANA, MES, Analytics Solutions preferred

Travel Required:
* 10% Domestic and International

Citizenship:
* Eligible for employment in the US

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
* Expertise in the Production Planning area: Master Production Schedule (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Work Order Creation, and Work Order Execution processes.
* Expertise in software solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP (PP/DS/IBP/MM/ME), Delmia Apriso (Dassault), SAP MES and other Advanced Planning Systems (e.g., Quintiq, APC-Jaguar).
* Expertise in leading UAT/BAT activities and managing cutover/EIS.
* Ability to adapt in a changing environment, particularly managing the deployment of central solutions to regional regulations (e.g., U.S. Customs, ITAR).
* Able to work closely and effectively with all levels of business and IM management.
* Holds people accountable for results, inspires trust, demonstrates flexibility, encourages frequent open communications and welcomes feedback.

Communication Skills:
* English required
* French preferred

Technical Systems Proficiency:
* SAP Production & Execution Module (PP/DS/ME/IBP/MM) required
* MES, SAP Fiori preferred
