Position Summary

The person in this position ensures that assigned projects are completed on time and within budget, and the resultant products meet specifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops detailed development schedules for assigned projects
  • Responsible for the effective internal and external communication of information related to project
  • Procures required resources from resource managers
  • Conducts status meetings
  • Tracks, monitors and reports project progress
  • Maintains, controls and distributes product specifications
  • Public Gaming specific tasks assigned by director, focus specializes in leading a team, typically cross-functional teams, to achieve project goals and requirements. Work with project teams and stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor, and control the project. Manage resources, budget, cost, time, quality, risks and other constraints.
  • Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.
  • This role has project management responsibility and no direct reports.
  • This job manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end. Requires people and resource management through others; part of cross-functional team required to complete the project.
Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

Training and/or Experience:

  • A minimum of two years engineering, operations, product or project management experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret rules and regulations
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal or external personnel
  • Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management
  • Knowledge of project management tools and processes
  • Knowledge and understanding of project budgeting
  • Ability to motivate employees

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
