Site Manager - Central Hydro & Raccoon Mountain Pumped Storage
Position Summary
The Site Manager is responsible for the successful execution of all contract obligations and labor agreements at the assigned hydroelectric and pumped-storage facilities. This role oversees safe and productive work execution, ensures compliance with customer and company quality standards, and serves as the primary day-to-day liaison with the client. The Site Manager also maintains effective relationships with local labor union officials and stays current on industry best practices through continuous learning.
Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the overall safety of staff and craft employees.
  • Implement and evaluate the site safety plan.
  • Direct, delegate, and manage work performed by on-site personnel.
  • Manage the budget for assigned sites.
  • Administer contracts while maintaining strong, respectful client relationships.
  • Identify and develop talent; recommend assignment changes as needed.
  • Maintain effective labor-management relationships with union partners.
  • Bid and manage Capital and O&M work.
  • Manage or produce Plan of Day (POD), Lessons Learned, Good Catches, cost documentation, P-6 schedules, PO logs, and equipment logs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Communicate effectively with clients, site staff, and craft labor.
  • Strong understanding of hydro and pumped-storage operations and contractual requirements.
  • Ability to delegate, supervise, and evaluate work performed by subordinates.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to manage budgets and identify business development opportunities.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $96,000- $210,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, scheduler type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
