The role of IT Support Specialist involves dual responsibility: on one hand, providing technical support to the company's internal users for both hardware and software issues; on the other, actively contributing to the management of technological innovation projects under the supervision of the Corporate IT Manager. The candidate must be able to resolve IT system, network, and business application issues efficiently and promptly, operating in a dynamic and collaborative environment. It is essential that the candidate possesses strong technical skills, a marked aptitude for troubleshooting, and project management capabilities.

Required: Proficiency and hands-on experience with SAP (configuration, support, and troubleshooting) is mandatory.

Charlotte, NC - onsite daily

This role also supports digital transformation initiatives, including identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovative technology solutions that align with organizational goals.

Additionally, this role is responsible for the routine maintenance of IT systems and devices, ensuring they are always efficient and operational.

Main Responsibilities



  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored IT solutions.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to SAP implementations and integrations, offering timely and effective solutions.
  • Provide first and second-level technical support to users, handling IT requests related to hardware and software issues.
  • Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets using a dedicated system, ensuring rapid response times and effective solutions.
  • Configure, install, and maintain workstations, including PCs, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and regular updates on IT systems and devices to ensure proper operation.
  • Provide training and support to end users on the use of company software and IT best practices.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of IT systems and promptly intervene in case of malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve support processes and technology infrastructure.
  • Support the IT Manager in managing hardware and software innovation projects.
  • Train internal end-users on SAP best practices and technical skills.
  • Research and analysis on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization.
  • Interact with other company departments and external vendors for the implementation of new technologies or software changes.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the Company in a positive manner.
  • Ensure that all activities within group projects comply with company standards and IT security regulations.


Technical and Functional Skills



  • In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Excellent command of the Office 365 suite.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP software, preferably S/4 Hana.
  • Proven experience supporting SAP environments, including SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
  • Familiarity with Prophet 21 - Epicor software (preferred).
  • Understanding of structured business processes in sales and logistics.
  • Basic skills in network management (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi).
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively within teams, including cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and a focus on internal customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic work environment.


Required Education

A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Work Experience

At least 4-5 years of relevant IT experience in similar roles is required, preferably gained in corporate settings.

Additional Role Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
