Job Description:
Multiple Locations and Shifts Available. This position may be filled as an MRI Technologist Level 1, 2, or 3, depending on individual experience, certifications, education, and other qualifications. Special Benefits:
Job Description General Description: The MRI Technologist I position is an entrylevel role that, under direct supervision, performs routine MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols, safety guidelines, and quality standards. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. If trained and verified in Cardiac MRI, the following responsibilities apply:
General Responsibilities:
MRI Technologist I Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited imaging, radiology or nuclear medicine program as defined by ARRT or ARMRIT or Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements. Experience: No prior MRI experience required. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. ARRT(RT) or ARMRIT certification required within 12 months of hire. MRI Technologist II Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate degree required. Experience: At least 3 years of MRI experience required. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. ARRT(RT)(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required upon hire. MRI Technologist III Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate's Degree required. Experience: At least 3 years of MRI experience required. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. ARRT(RT)(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required upon hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
