The work of the School of Government is rooted in the public service mission of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. | Position Summary |
This position will support Lead for North Carolina's training, curriculum design, experiential learning, evaluation, and fellow development efforts. Duties include developing games, simulations, and applied learning activities for Summer Academy and fellowship programming; refining training curricula and facilitator materials; supporting program evaluation through survey design, feedback analysis, and learning measures; and assisting with fellow support and professional development resources. The role requires independent judgment, strong facilitation and adult learning expertise, and the ability to design engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for early-career public servants working in local government. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Master's degree in education, special education, instructional design, educational technology, educational media, or related discipline with coursework in curriculum development or learning theory; or a Bachelor's degree in the assigned discipline and two years of experience in teaching, educational testing, or instructional design and curriculum development; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
