What You'll Do:
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks, following recipes and guest preferences. Create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to individual guest tastes. Ensure every drink meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. Greet and engage guests with a warm, welcoming attitude, delivering personalized service. Take drink orders from guests and servers, answering questions about menu options. Handle guest complaints or special requests professionally to ensure satisfaction. Set up the bar at the start of each shift, ensuring all equipment, garnishes, and supplies are ready for service. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, surfaces, and waste disposal. Monitor and report inventory levels for beverages, garnishes, and supplies to prevent shortages. Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest identification. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and enforce responsible service practices. Adhere to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages. Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service. Assist with restocking supplies and support barback duties during busy periods. Foster a positive team environment while delivering exceptional service. Regular attendance in conformance with standards. May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs. Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Include:
Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required, with bartending experience highly preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation techniques, appropriate glassware, and bar equipment, including knowledge of legal regulations for alcohol service (TIPS or local State approved certification or ability to obtain is required). Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences. Basic proficiency with computer systems for order processing and inventory tracking. Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
