POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Outpatient Pharmacy Ambulatory Care Program Manager and Medication to Bedside Transitional Care Pharmacist, and according to department policies and procedures, and guidelines, the Medication to Bedside Delivery Technician (M2B) will work closely with clinical pharmacists and the outpatient pharmacy department to provide a coordinated bedside prescription medication delivery service for patients being discharged from the hospital. The M2B Technician shall strive to provide an unsurpassed patient experience by communicating to patient/providers on program specifics/details and arranging for outpatient prescription processing/filling within the outpatient pharmacy with the ultimate goal for patient's to leave the hospital will all discharge prescriptions in-hand. The M2B Technician shall have an assigned area and/or patient population of focus thereby providing consistent visibility and a presence to the target clients and patients. The M2B Technician shall work diligently to remove barriers to ensure discharge prescriptions are provided to patients. The Technician III is responsible for providing high quality patient focused pharmacy services. Will also provide training and oversight for pharmacy Technicians I & II. Compensation Range: $26.92- $37.74This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
