McKinley Health Center Job SummaryWorking under the administrative supervision from the Associate Director for Clinical Support Services, responsible for developing and supervising the nursing service of one or more clinical units. Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications 1. Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Division of Professional Regulation. 3. Five (5) years of professional nursing/healthcare management experience overseeing a unit or department in a healthcare facility with primary responsibilities such as personnel and performance management. These 5 years may be concurrent with the requirements outlined in the minimum acceptable quals of the classification. Preferred QualificationsSeven (7) years of professional nursing/healthcare management experience overseeing a unit or department in a healthcare facility with primary responsibilities such as personnel and performance management, scheduling, selection and hiring, infection control, policy development and enforcement, risk management and budgeting. Experience with Mental Health nursing. McKinley Health Center aims to provide high-quality ambulatory healthcare and health education to students and medical expertise to University leadership. The Center is also accredited through the Accreditation Associate for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
